The Vibrant Fitness mission is to empower you. No challenge or goal is ever out of your reach! No matter how old you are, how out of shape you feel, or how big your aspirations are. This is where you dig down, persevere, show real GRIT and kick some ass!
A bee is a champion defender of his title.
A bee will rise to any challenge with vengence.
No challenger is to big to defeat his will.
If he were to stop flying his wings would weaken leaving him vulnerable.
The same happens to you when you stop flying. The human body is the only 'machine' that wears out from NOT being used. Muscle atropy starts as early as age 25 for women!

A fun approach is applied to everything at Vibrant Life even exercise! The programs are centered around free wieghts and proper form. Once you have the knowledge to correctly perform all facets of free weight movements you will have a repertoire that will allow you to eventually create your own workouts!!

From Couch Potato to Your First 5K
This program is designed specifically with beginners in mind! You will love the fun approach that is taken to help you find your inner runner! The toughest part about starting to run is being able to do it with your own willpower. It's hard to get off the couch and to run mulitple miles. Luckily, Vibrant Fitness is launching ' From Couch Potato to Your First 5K'. It is a 10 week training program that will motivate you to quit making excuses and finish your first 5K!!!
The 5K at Put-In-Bay is our target race on Saturday September 22nd!! It is a wonderful first 5K and you can enjoy the island afterwards.
The benefits of running are astounding!! It is a sport that almost anyone can do, and is probably the most beneficial to your health.
Running:
- Has been proven to fight the aging process
- Prevents muscle and bone loss caused by aging
- Promotes human growth hormone
- Reduces the risk of stroke and breast cancer
- Reduces risk of heart attacks
Running also benefits your mind set:

When you start running you will never look back!
The Vibrant Fitness 10 week program starts with a kickoff meeting. Where everyone gets to meet! You will learn about the correct shoes, clothing, water consumption, workouts, and nutrition. You will fill out your entry form for the race as soon as it is available in August! Your entry fee is included in your enrollment fee. AND healthy snacks are provided at the kick off meeting!
Over the course of 10 weeks your group will meet on Sunday mornings at sunrise( around 7:00). The camaraderie that is cultivated within this group is amazing and motivating.
You will have specific instructions for your 'homework' during the week. Which requires a two day a week commitment from you!
This is a walk/run interval program. You should always go at your own pace and because we meet at a track no one is ever left behind! This Walk/Run schedule is the fastest and easiest way to become a runner.
This is a rain or shine meeting ( some of my best runs have been in the rain!!) because you never know what race day will bring.
It is exciting to launch this training because I know that you will benefit from your 5K training for the rest of your life.
